Brief History of the Livermore Drum Circle…

The story begins in 2009 when Phil Didlake and friends started a weekly drum circle at a Tex/Mex restaurant aka Los Vaqueros Grill.

In 2011, it moved downtown in front of the Bankhead Theater, where it became more community-focused.

From 2014-2017, the drum circle met less frequently due to Phil's studies in Boston, however it resumed almost every monthly since his return in 2018.

In April 2020, Phil moved the drum circle to Zoom, connecting people globally and locally. In April 2021, the drum circle resumed in-person, continuing to meet monthly as a free community event.

The drum circle is supported by Patreon subscribers, donations, community partnerships, and participants like YOU.
